~ Propagate Paste Tutorial ~

Ok, So you want to add a name to a animation?

Or add a animation to another animation?
This tutorial will tell you how! J

~ Supplies Needed ~

Animation Shop (Get a Trial version HERE)
PSP8  - if wanting to add a name (Get a Trial version HERE)
Animations I used – Get them below. :) (Right Click on the animation and go to Save As.)



Open Both Animations in Animation shop.

Select the background animation. Now Select ALL Frames of the animation as shown below by clicking on the first frame
then hold on the crtl button and press A. All Frames Should be selected now like the picture below.



Now Go to the Doll Animation and do the same
thing that we did to the backgrounds above.

Now go to Edit, Propagate paste. Nothing will happen yet.



Now make sure you still have the doll selected.

And also make sure all frames are still selected. Now go to Edit, Copy.

Now go to the background animation again.
Make sure ALL Frames are still selected.

Now go to Edit, Paste Into Selected Frame, and place the doll where you want her!




This should be what you end up with below.

Now Preview your Animation to make sure it looks how you want it to look so far!



Now you can either stop here or add a name!

I’m going to show you how to add a name.

Go to PSP and open a transparent image. Select the Text tool.

Now get the name exactly how you want it, color, size, etc, etc.

Here is mine below; it nothing fancy but it give you the idea:



Ok. Now go to Select, Select None so nothing is selected.
Now Go to Select, Select all. You should see marching ants like below!



Now go to Edit, Copy. Go to Animation shop now where we still have our animation open.
Go To Edit, Paste as a new animation. Below is what you should see.

Now go to Edit, Copy.  Now Select the finished animation. (Or a different one like a tag)

Make sure all frames are selected. (Ctrl A) Now go to Edit and make sure propagate paste is still turned on like the picture below.



Now Go to Edit, Paste into selected frame and put your name where you want it on your animation!
Below is the end result if you followed these directions correctly.

You can also use propagate paste to add frames and other stuff!
