Blinkie Template Used  – Diamond Blinkie Template

Open the Blinkie Template in PSP.
It will look blank like the image below, but it’s not!

Now Go to Selections – Load/Save Selections
Load Selection From Alpha Channel
And a window will pop up like the image below.

Select Diamond Back and Click Load.
You should see a blank selection of a diamond like below.

Now select a foreground color gradient, or pattern that you have to use to flood fill the selection with.I choose #17048E. Using your flood fill tool flood the selection. (Make sure that
your tolerance is set to 200.)

Now add any effects you want to it. I am going to add noise and a Inner Bevel. If you don’t want to add any effects skip to the next step, Otherwise Go To Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise. Set to Uniform and 30% Noise And Click ok.

Now to Add a Inner Bevel. Go to Effects, 3D Effect
and choose the Inner Bevel of your choice.

Ok Next Step. Now Go Back To Selections – Load/Save Selections
Load Selection From Alpha Channel And pick diamond middle.

This is what you should see now.

Now select a foreground color gradient, or pattern that you have to use to flood fill the selection with. I choose #808080.
Using your flood fill tool flood the selection again.
Below is what it should look like depending on the colors and effects you choose.

Again this where you would add your effects if you want them.
I am going to add noise and a inner bevel again. After your done adding your effects
go to Selections – Select None.

Now Go to Selections – Select all. Then Go to Edit Copy.
Edit Paste and make 3 copies of your blinkie base, making there 4 total.

Now would be a good time to open Animation Shop. Now back to PSP.
Select one of your copies. Now Go Back To Selections – Load/Save Selections
Load Selection From Alpha Channel And pick Blinkie 1 and Click Load. Below is what you should see. A bunch on little circle selections.

Choose a foreground color again to fills the selections with. Make sure you will be able to see them with the colors you have already chosen. Now Flood fill all the little circle selections with your color! I choose #808080. I am going to add a inner bevel to my dots too to give them a 3D effect! If you wanna skip this you can. Go to Selections – Select All. Then Edit – Copy. Now go To Animation Shop and paste as new animation. Now you have your first frame of the blinkie! Yay! Your doing great!

Now Back to PSP and close that copy we just put in animation shop. Now select another copy. And go to Now Go Back To Selections – Load/Save Selections. Load Selection From Alpha Channel And pick Blinkie 2 this time. Again Flood fill the little circles selections. Either with the same color or a different one. I am doing the same color again. If you added effects last time, do it again here.

Again – Go to Go to Selections – Select All. Then Edit – Copy. Now go To Animation Shop and paste after current frame this time! Ok now you should have two of your blinkie frames! Almost done!

Now Back to PSP and close that copy we just put in animation shop. Now select the last copy you made. And go to Now Go Back To Selections – Load/Save Selections. Load Selection From Alpha Channel And pick Blinkie 3 this time. Again Flood fill the little circles selections. Either with the same color or a different one. I am doing the same color again. If you added effects last time, do it again here.

Again – Go to Go to Selections – Select All. Then Edit – Copy. Now go To Animation Shop and paste after current frame again. Now you should have three frames in Animation Shop like the image below!

Now you got your blinkie! Save! Make sure when you close your template in
PSP that you DON’T save what you did otherwise you will mess the template up.

Now if you want to add stuff like dollz or names this is where you would
do it using propagate paste.
